Directs MacProject II to use planned dates when calculating several aspects of your project.
When Calculate Using Planned is on, late dates and the critical path are determined by the planned dates. Slack time is calculated as the difference between the Latest Start of a task and its Earliest Start, and it is shown as a shaded extension to the planned bars in the timeline charts. Resource durations are scheduled at the Earliest Start of tasks.

You should have Calculate Using Planned on when you first build your project schedule. While monitoring your project, you should ordinarily have Calculate Using Actual on, but you’ll find Calculate Using Planned helpful if you want to look back and see how the progress of the project compares with the way you had planned it.
